Bare Beck Outfall Extension
Proposed 12m extension to existing beach-level Bare Beck outfall. Currently suffers flap-valve shingle blockages which causes the beck to back-up, flooding Morecambe Golf Course and threatening properties upstream.
11th and 12th April 2022: Form concrete base at beach level. 12m long, 2m wide.
W/C 25th April: Install twin-wall HDPE pipe. 12m @1200 dia. Laid upon concrete base. Shutter to sides and surround with concrete. Affix new seaward headwall and flap-valve. Trim existing armourstone to finish.
