Project description

Dubmill Point Repairing of Groynes
Cumbria County Council proposes to undertake a series of maintenance works to the existing coastal defences at Dubmill Point, near Allonby, Cumbria. The groynes require maintenance and repairs to protect a short length of the B5300 road, an important transport link between the towns of Silloth and Maryport and several villages in between. Cumbria County Council as a Highway Authority has a responsibility to inspect and maintain these defences.
The works are proposed this financial year to be done before the 31/03/2021 but now understand this will have to move into 2021/22 programme but any earliest date would be accepted
